Project Description

Beaver Constructors, Inc. was awarded the $17 million construction contract to complete the new Columbiana Water Treatment Plant. The City of Columbiana recognized the existing Water Treatment Plant (WTP) was well beyond its useful life and could not be effectively modified or expanded to service projected increases to system demands, nor meet current standards and regulations.

Completed in 2018, the construction of the new WTP consisted of a 15,000 square foot plant designed to treat 2.25 million gallons of water per day. Beaver installed many technical portions of the WTP such as an Aerator, a Chlorination System, High Service Pumps, Softening Basins, and Filters.
