Project Description
The Beaver Excavating Company served as the General Contractor for the new $8 million dollar Area 20 project completed in 2019. Beaver Excavating constructed a new campground with approximately 150 individual camp sites, a shower house, picnic shelter, and miles of new roadway. Beaver Constructors, Inc. built the new shower house and picnic shelter while Beaver Excavating performed all the site development, roadway, and concrete campsite work.
The schedule on this project was challenging due to working around activities in other campsite areas and with large festivals during the summer. The development of an integrated project delivery schedule greatly helped keep all subcontractors aware of critical schedule activities and milestone deadlines that needed to be met.
